Capital Family Practice located in Fairfax, Virginia has providers with over fifty years of combined experience in treating patients of all ages, including geriatric, adult and pediatric patients.

Dr. Kathleen Curtis

Dr. Curtis is a native of Northern Virginia, growing up in Falls Church, Virginia. She received her undergraduate education from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, majoring in biology.  She received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia where she held offices in two national medical organizations.  She then went on to complete a 3 year residency in Family Practice at the VCU Riverside Family Practice.  Dr. Curtis is Board Certified in Family Practice with special interest in preventative medicine, pediatrics, and management of chronic illness.  Dr. Curtis has been in private practice here in Northern Virginia for over ten years. She lives in Fairfax City with her husband and two daughters.

Margaret Fritts - Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Photo of Margaret FrittsMargaret Fritts received her Post-Graduate Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.  Prior to this, she completed her Master's in Nursing from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and focused her clinical studies in HIV/AIDS while living in Nairobi, Kenya.  She has worked in Refugee Health for the CDC, as well as, the pleasure of providing adult and pediatric primary care.  She received her Bachelor of Nursing from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and also a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Indiana University.  Margaret enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine, including adolescent and pediatric care. She and her husband live in Fairfax, Virginia with their youngest son.  She enjoys playing music, travel and tandem bike rides.
